Do I need a permit to build a Vogue Pergola?
In most cases a building permit is required with our traditional Vogue Pergolas as our structures are waterproof and 99% UV resistant. However, some councils have a rule that if the structure is under 20m2 and has a permeable cover then a permit is not required. We can now offer a cover that is 90% waterproof and UV resistant that may suit some situations; therefore no permit would be required for this type of structure.Can Vogue Pergolas organise the permit?
Yes Vogue Pergolas Vic can organise any permits that are required. We generally use a private certifier that offers comprehensive service; the cost is passed onto the client.What are Vogue Pergolas made of?
Vogue Pergolas can adapt the structures so that virtually any material can be installed as the cover, including LaserLite and Colourbond.Posts/Poles:
Round Posts: 150NB 3.5mm Allgal Steel or
Square Posts: 125x125x4.0mm Galvanised RHS

All our structures come engineered to suit wind loads. As a standard design the pergolas are engineered to withstand N3 winds. Custom designs can be engineered to a higher specification.Can you install heating, lighting, cafe blinds or guttering to a Vogue Pergola?
Every job is custom-designed and can be made to suit.In most cases Cafe Blinds can be installed.
You can install lighting and heating devices under a Vogue Pergola.
In Victoria, guttering to connect to stormwater is required for most structures for your building
permit to be approved.
